Pet Policy for Ancient Lore Village

At Ancient Lore Village, we welcome you and your furry companions! To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, please review and adhere to our pet policy below.

1. General Guidelines

• Pet Fee: A non-refundable fee of $175 per stay is required for additional cleaning and maintenance.
• Size and Breed Restrictions:
  • Pets up to 50 lbs are welcome.
  • Larger pets may be allowed with prior approval.
  • No breed restrictions, but pets must be well-behaved, leashed, and non-aggressive.
• Accepted Pets: Only dogs and cats are permitted.
• Limit on Pets: A maximum of one pet is allowed per dwelling.
• Housebroken Pets: All pets must be fully housebroken.

2. Pet-Friendly Areas

• Pets are welcome in the Fairy and Orc Family Dwellings and most outdoor spaces.
• Restricted Areas (unless they are service animals):
  • Willows Landing
  • Village Gardens and pathways
  • Axe and Archery Range
  • Gremlin Gameyard
  • Tree Elf Nest Patio and Tree Elf Nest

3. Pet Behavior & Supervision

• Control: Pets must always remain under the handler’s control. Unmanageable pets may be removed from the property without refund.
• Noise and Behavior: Excessive barking or disturbances may result in additional fees or early termination of the stay.
• Toxic Plants Notice: Ancient Lore Village contains various plant species throughout our gardens and property, some of which may be toxic to pets. Pet owners are responsible for monitoring their pets, and Ancient Lore Village is not liable for any illness or harm caused by the ingestion of toxic plants.

4. Additional Services

• Pet Amenities: Crates, bowls, and treats are available for an additional fee of $50 per night.
• Damage Policy: Any damage caused by pets will incur additional charges based on the extent of the damage.

5. In-Room Pet Policy

• Unattended Pets: Pets may not be left unattended in guestrooms unless secured in a crate or carrier. Guests must provide a contact number for emergencies.
• Housekeeping: Housekeeping services will only be provided if:
  • Pets are not in the room, or
  • The guest is present to supervise, and the pet is secured on a leash or in a crate.

6. Waste Disposal

Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and dispose of waste in designated pet waste stations. Failure to do so will result in a $75 fine.
