Pet Policy for Ancient Lore Village

At Ancient Lore Village, we welcome you and your furry companions to the Fairy and Orc Family Dwellings! To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, please review and adhere to our pet policy below:

General Guidelines

  1. Pet Fee: A non-refundable fee of $175 per stay is required to cover additional cleaning and maintenance.
  2. Size and Breed Restrictions:
    • Pets up to 50 lbs are welcome.
    • Larger pets may be allowed with prior approval.
    • No breed restrictions apply, but pets must be well-behaved, leashed, and non-aggressive.
  3. Accepted Pets: Only dogs and cats are permitted.
  4. Limit on Pets: A maximum of one pet is allowed per dwelling.
  5. Housebroken Pets: All pets must be fully housebroken.

Pet-Friendly Areas

  • Pets are welcome in the Fairy and Orc Family Dwellings and most outdoor spaces.
  • Restricted Areas (unless they are service animals):
    • Willows Landing
    • Village Gardens and pathways
    • Axe and Archery Range
    • Gremlin Gameyard
    • Tree Elf Nest Patio and Tree Elf Nest

Pet Behavior & Supervision

  1. Control: Pets must always remain under the handler’s control. Unmanageable pets may be removed from the property without refund.
  2. Noise and Behavior: Excessive barking or disturbances may result in additional fees or early termination of the stay.

Additional Services

  1. Pet Amenities: Crates, bowls, and treats are available for an additional fee of $50 per night.
  2. Damage Policy: Any damage caused by pets will incur additional charges based on the extent of the damage.

In-Room Pet Policy

  1. Unattended Pets: Pets may not be left unattended in guestrooms unless secured in a crate or carrier. Guests must provide a contact number for emergencies.
  2. Housekeeping: Housekeeping services will only be provided if:
    • Pets are not in the room, or
    • The guest is present to supervise, and the pet is secured on a leash or in a crate.

Waste Disposal

  1. Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and dispose of waste in designated pet waste stations. Failure to do so will result in a $75 fine.
