The Village remembers their day as one of laughter, peace, and pure enchantment—every path lined with beauty, every detail touched by love.
Their story, told in Mackenzie’s own words, captures the heart of what makes a whimsical wedding at Ancient Lore Village so unforgettable:
As soon as I walked up the hill and caught my first glimpse of the Village, I knew without a doubt that Ancient Lore Village was the place I wanted to get married. Walking through the Village felt like stepping into another world. It was absolutely breathtaking. Staying in the dwellings was one of the best decisions we made. Each one was unique, detailed, and perfect for relaxing and getting ready. My bridesmaids and I had three dwellings to ourselves, which made it easy to step out and check on any last-minute wedding details, not that I had to very often. The Village staff was incredible, prompt, and truly brought my vision to life. My day-of supervisor even calmed me down seconds before the doors opened to my forever.
Standing there with my husband’s hands in mine, I’ll never forget how peaceful it felt with the wind moving through the trees and the sunlight shining down through the canopy. It made for the most magical, fairytale-like photos. The flowers were stunning, the food was absolutely amazing (and served so quickly), and even the golf during the reception was a fun and memorable touch. I had been a little nervous about guests hearing the ceremony music, but the audio worked out perfectly. I would choose Ancient Lore Village again a million times over. It truly gave me the fairytale ending every girl dreams of.
